Carmelized Onion Dip
Ingredients
1 tsp olive oil
1 3/4 cup onion-chopped
1 clove garlic-minced
1/3 cup cider vinegar
3 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/3 cup mayo
1/3 cup plus 1/4 cup sour cream
1/8 tsp salt
Directions
Heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic,cover and cook for 8 min or til tender.
Add the vinegar,honey and pepper-stir well.
Bring to a boil and cook,uncovered for 10 min til the onion is golden and the liquid has evaporated.
Combine the mayo,sour cream and salt in a deep bowl.
Stir in the onion mixture and combine thoroughly.
Chill til ready to serve.
