Lumpia
Ingredients
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 lb ground beef
or 1/2 lb chopped shrimp
1/3 cup minced onion
1/3 cup chopped water chestnuts
1 slightly beaten egg
1 Tsp soy sauce
1 Tsp salt
1/4 Tsp pepper
1-2 pkg lumpia wrappers
oil for frying
Directions
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
Place 1 - 1 1/2 Tbsp mixture along one edge of a lumpia wrapper.
Begin rolling tightly,tucking in sides.
Using your finger, moisten the final wrapper edge with water and press to seal(should look like a "tight" eggroll).
Heat oil to 375 deg and fry lumpia(in batches) til golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
