Welsh Rarebit


1 Tbsp melted butter

2 Tbsp flour

2 cups grated cheese of choice

3/4 cup milk

1/2 Tsp dry mustard

1 Tsp Worcestershire sauce

2 bouillon cubes
(beef or veggie)

salt and pepper to taste


Place flour,butter,mustard,milk and bouillon cubes in top of double boiler over hot wter and cook until thick.

Add in the cheese and stir until cheese has melted.

Season to taste with salt and pepper .

Serve over toast.

A true Welshman would replace the milk with a Welsh beer.
