Country Fried Steak


1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 Tsp pepper

2 Tsp seasoning salt

2 cups buttermilk

8 (4-ounce) cubed steak

Vegetable oil for frying


Combine flour,seasoning salt and pepper in a dish.

Dredge each steak in the buttermilk then in the flour.

Heat oil in a skillet and fry each steak til golden brown.

Drain on paper towels.

Use the "goodies" left in the skillet to make gravy.
