Rich Refrigerator Dough


3/4 cup milk

1/2 cup sugar

2 tsp salt

1/2 cup butter or margerine

2 pkg active,dry yeast

1/2 cup warm water (110-115 deg)

2 egg-beaten

6 cups all purpose flour


Scald milk and stir in the sugar,salt and butter then set aside to cool to lukewarm.

Sprinkle the yeast over the warm water. and stir unntil yeast is dissolved.

Add milk mixture,eggs and 2 cups flour to yeast and beat til smooth.

Stir in enough of the remaining flour to make a soft dough.

Cover and refigerate for several hours or overnight.

Form dough into rolls or loaf and place in greased pan.

Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (30-60 min)
Bake at 350 for approximately 20 min for rolls and approximately 30 min for loaf or until golden brown.
