Basic Glaze
Ingredients
2 Cups powdered sugar
1 Tsp. vanilla extract
4 to 6 Tbsp. milk
Directions
Mix powdered sugar, vanilla and milk to desired consistency starting with just 1-2 Tbsp. milk.
If you get it too thick, add more milk a few drops at a time. If too thin, add more powdered sugar.
Variations: Try adding different extracts other than the vanilla. Mix in fruit zests. Stir in 1/2 -1 Tbsp. cocoa powder for a chocolate glaze. Sprinkle with colored sugar crystals, sprinkles, or just let your imagination flow.
