Butter Icing
Ingredients
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter-melted
(no substitutes)
2 Tbsp milk
2-3 Tsp lemon juice
1/8 Tsp salt
Directions
Sift the powdered sugar to remove any lumps.
Combine with melted butter,salt,milk and lemon juice.
Beat mixture until thick,creamy and spreadable.
Variations:
May substitute flavoring of choice for the lemon juice but use only 1 to 1 1/2 tsp and add more milk to obtain the consistency you want.
