German Chocolate Truffles
Ingredients
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 oz sweet cooking chocolate
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp vanilla
cocoa powder,chopped nuts,powdered sugar,coconut or other to use as coating
Directions
In a heavy saucepan,over med heat,melt the chips,cooking chocolateand the milk.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
Chill,covered,for 2 hrs,until cool enough to handle and hold shape.
Roll into 1 inch balls.
Roll each ball into coating of choice.
Cover and chill for 1 hour or til firm again.
Store,at room temp,in a tightly covered container.
