Hazelnut Paste



Ingredients


2 1/2 cup hazelnuts - brown skin removed

1 1/2 cup sugar


Directions


In a heavy pan,slowly begin heating the sugar until it melts and turns golden brown.

Add the nuts to the sugar,stirring them together until all the nuts are covered.

Pour the mixture on a baking sheet and let it cool .

Once cooled, break into pieces and process in a food processor until it becomes a smooth paste with tiny chunks.

Spread on toast,etc
