Honey Triangles

Ingredients


For the Crust

1 1/2 cup flour

1/3 cup sugar

1/2 cup Plus 2 tbsp butter

1/2 cup nuts-finely chopped

For the Filling

3 large eggs

2 cups nuts-chopped

1/4 cup brown sugar-packed

1/4 cup honey

2 tbsp butter-melted

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup mini chocolate chips


Directions

For the Crust

Line a 13x9x2 pan with foil,leaving a 2 inch overhang on ends.

Mix all crust ingredients together(misture will be crumbly) and press into bottom of the pan.

Bake at 325 for 15 min.

Set pan aside while preparing filling.

For the Filling

Beat the eggs in a large bowl.

Stir in the nuts,brown sugar,honey,melted butter and vanilla.

Fold in the chips.

Pour mixture over the crust.

Bake at 325 for 20 min.

Cool,cut in squares and then cut into triangles.


*Note: For variety, use butterschotch,peanut butter or mint chocolate chips.
