Simple Macaroons


2/3 Cup flour

1/4 Tsp salt

1 package flaked coconut (5 1/2 Cups)

2 Tso vanilla or coconut extract

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together the flour,salt and coconut.

Add the extract and the sweetened condensed milk (it is easiest to use your hands) and mix thoroughly.

Use a small scoop or teaspoon to drop approximately a walnut size amount onto a foil lined or parchement paper lined baking sheet ( I use a nonstick foil).

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until coconut is lightly toasted.
