Easy Fruit Cobbler
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 c. milk
2 1/2 cups sliced fresh fruit
or 1 large (#2) can of fruit-drained
1 c. white sugar
1 c. Bisquick
Directions
If using fresh fruit, sprinkle 1/2 cup of the sugar over the fruit and set aside.
In a medium sized baking dish,melt the butter and set aside.
Combine the remaining 1/2 cup sugar,milk and bisquick (batter will be thin)and pour over the melted butter.
Pour your selected fruit on top of the batter but do not stir.
Bake 350-400 deg until batter rises to the top and browns.
Serve warm with ice cream or sweetened whipped cream.
