Cream Filling


3/4 cup sugar

1/3 cup flour

1/8 Tsp salt

2 eggs-well beaten

2 cups milk

1/2 Tsp vanilla

2 Tbsp butter


Scald the milk.

Combine butter,sugar,salt,flour and eggs.

Slowly add the milk,stirring constanatly.

Cook in top of double boiler,over hot water until thick and smooth.

Add vanilla.

Use as filling between cake layers or as filling for eclairs.cream puffs,etc.
