Sugar Free Pecan Pie


3 tbsp butter or margarine

1/2 cup artificial sweetener (Splenda,Equal)

3 eggs, slightly beaten

1 cup clear,sugar-free syrup

Pinch of salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
plus extra if desired for decorations

9-inch unbaked pie shell


In a mixing bowl, cream or butter and sweetner.

Add eggs, syrup, salt, vanilla and pecans,mixing well.

Pour into pie shell and top with whole pecans for decorations, if desired.

Bake at 350 deg. for 50 - 60 minutes.
