Sausage Oven Omelet


Ingredients


6 slices bread

1/2 to 1 lb sausage - cooked and drained

6 eggs

2 cup milk or half and half

6 slices cheese
( or 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese)

salt and pepper to taste

cooking spray


Directions

Spray a 9x9 square pan with the cooking spray.

Place bread in a single layer in the bottom of the pan.

Cover bread slices with the cheese.

Distribute the sausage evenly over the cheese.

Beat together the eggs,milk,salt and pepper then pour over the sausage.

Bake at 350 for 30 min or until eggs are set and top is golden brown.

Cut into serving size squares.

Note: Cooked,crumbled bacon or chopped ham may be substituted for the sausage.
