Midori Sauce


2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons flour

1 14 oz can beef broth or stock

1/3 cup (or to taste)of Midori liqueur


Make a light brown roux of the butter and flour.

Whisk in the beef stock and whisk til smooth.

Stir in the Midori.

Midori is the green color liqueur, first made in Japan, with a fruity taste of melon.

This can be served over meat or poultry of choice.
