Mushroom Sauce


1 cup sliced mushrooms

4 Tbso flour

1/2 cup water

4 Tbsp butter - melted

1 1/2 cup chicken or beef stock

salt and pepper to taste


Combine the butter and flour and cook til browned (degree of color depends on how long you let it cook).

Add the stock and the water, stirring to prevent lumps.

Stir in the mushrooms.

Season with salt and pepper.
