Pineapple Chutney


1 can(8 ounces)crushed pineapple
(may use 1 cup fresh diced pineapple)

1 1/2 cups chopped green apple

1/2 cup chopped red pepper

3 Tbsp sugar

2 Tbsp cider vinegar

2 Tbsp instant minced onion

3/4 Tsp curry powder

3/4 Tsp mustard seeds

pinch of hot pepper flakes (optional)


Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring, for 5 minutes.

Remove from the heat and let cool.

Serve with fish or meats
