Ham and Potato Chowder


1/2 cup onon-chopped

1 tbsp butter

2 tsp fresh thyme(or 1/2 tsp dried)

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

3 cup milk

1 1/2 cup ham-cubed

1 cup instant potato flakes

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves


Saute the onion in the butter til tender.

Stir in the thyme,salt and pepper.

Transfer to a pot and add in the milk.

Cook til heated through then add the ham,potato flakes and the basil.

If necessary,add more milk until you have the chowder the consistency you want.
