Oriental Pepper Beef Stew


1 Lb Stew meat
chopped in small pieces

1 16 oz can diced tomatoes

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 clove minced garlic

1 Tsp beef boullion granules

2 small green peppers
cut in 3/4 in cubes

1 cup pork flavored oriental noodles

2 Tbsp cornstarch

1 Tbsp low salt shoyu

1 Tbsp water

1 cup fresh bean sprouts


In a large pot,brown the stew meat in a few drops of oil.

Add the tomatoes,onion,garlic and boullion.

Bring to a boil then cover and reduce heat to a simmer.

Simmer for 90 min or until meat is very tender.

Add the green pepper and continue to simmer, uncovered, for 15 min.

Prepare the noodles as per package instructions and drain well.

Mix the cornstarch,shoyu and 1 tbsp water together and add it to the stew.

Cook and stir until stew is thick and bubbly then cook another 1-2 min.

Mix together the drained noodles and the bean sprouts.

Serve the stew over the noodle/sprout mixture.
