Baked Squash


7 medium sized yellow squash

1 small onion-chopped

1/2 cup cream

1/4 cup crushed crackers

2 Tbsp butter

salt and pepper to taste

Seasoned bread crumbs and butter
for topping


Wash and slice the squash then cook in salted water until tender.

Drain squash and mash.

Saute onion in the 2 Tbsp butter until it is opaque.

Add the cream and crackers,stirring and cooking til all is well combined.

Add in the squash then pour all into a greased casserole dish.

Sprinkle top with the bread crumbs and dot with as much butter as you want.

Bake at 400 for 30 min or til top begins to brown.
