Gingered Carrots


6 carrots peeled and cut in chunks

1/2 Tsp ground ginger

1 Tsp sugar

1/4 cup butter

2 Tbsp parsley flakes


Cook the carrots in a small amount of water until tender-crisp and then drain.

Combine the ginger,sugar and butter with the carrots and cook over low heat,stirring frequently,until the butter and sugar are melted and the carrots are coated with the sauce.

Pour into serving dish and sprinkle with the parsley.
